Vladimir Putin has proposed a summit next month with US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping to negotiate an end to the four-year-old Ukraine conflict that would favour Moscow, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the discussions.
The proposed summit comes amid warming ties between Trump and Putin especially after the US President announced a deal to buy Russian diesel and signed an order on Friday waiving key sanctions on Moscow.
Citing a former Russian intelligence officer briefed on the matter, the paper said that Putin’s suggestion came in an October 9 telephone call with Trump that also yielded the diesel deal between the two countries.
Oh man, they are going to drag Trump somewhere elaborate, and stroke his ego like they are playing a fiddle.
Don’t trust Trump. Ukraine and Europe should be involved.
Completely pointless meeting. Trump just wants one last ego stroking before he becomes irrelevant.

He wants to discuss peace in Ukraine, without Ukraine’s input.
This is just another weapon on the war, don’t fall for it.
They want to discuss pieces of Ukraine. Easy mistake to make. Their deciding who gets what. And Ukrainians aren’t invited.
Ukraine should be saving up a thousand drones for the moment they’re sure where Putin is standing.

How fucked up would it be if at some point the US starting supporting Russia somehow in the conflict?
Well, they already slowed down Ukraines drones and communication with Musk, stalled information exchange about upcoming attacks and such and are actively giving money to Russia and breaking international agreements about oil export restrictions. And also they are (again) discussing about ending the war without Ukraine on the table.
They might not sell weapons to Russia (yet), but USA is absolutely supporting Russia on the war.
No, Trump and his MAGAts support Russia. Anyone with any actual intelligence wants Stump arrested for treason on grounds of aiding an enemy state in it’s illicit war against another sovereign nation. The EU and NATO need to sanction the US, but it would just make the big orange turd double down with his treason.
One might argue that USA isn’t what it is right now because of Trump. Trump is president because USA is what it is right now.
Of course not everyone living in there, just like not everyone living in Russia is a bloodthirsty murderer for their tzar. But USA as a global entity is really just that bat shit crazy right now. It might get better some day, but as the circus has been on full blast for years now it doesn’t seem too promising in the near future.
