So it is a war. Which means it is illegal because Congress has not sanctioned it. Arrest the criminal fucker.

And we still don’t even have a declared goal for this war. Uhm… Besides all the bullshit religious rhetoric, of course.

    ‘Very Complete, Pretty Much’

    Almost nowhere near?

    Definitely almost?

    Precisely in general?

And here I was thinking that it takes one side to start a war but two to stop it. The US seems to be in a no win scenario. Either they just call it a day while publicly claiming victory, which in practice results in an Iranian victory, or they commit to a ground campaign, which is Afghanistan all over again but much bigger in scope.

Yeh, the US opened Pandora’s box here. You can’t just close it again.

That was the greatest victory US ever had. We won, and we won bigly. Iran leader was begging me not to kill him. Iranian children were hiding like dogs. Some people say we didn’t win but they are traitors and communists.

It’s quite obvious that Iran (or at least its current regime) is fighting a war of survival. If the current regime stays in power and gains the ability to open and close Hormuz at will, that should be a win for Iran. If the US cannot guarantee safe shipping through Hormuz, that is a loss for them. In my book that seems pretty straightforward.

This is damage control on the the stock market and posturing for his base, Iran doesnt seem to be backing down and the longer this drags out the more certain disaster for the global economy becomes.

They are running out of interceptors and now they hope they can pull out and deescalate until they get hit where it hurts…

He had a press conference, very recently, “over soon, but if Iran does anything more, destruction of everything”. including reference to shipping in Straits. Iran knows he’s bluffing, and has run out of missiles, and will not put the navy within their drone range, but at any rate, Trump’s Israel masters won’t let him off the hook.

They don’t produce that many per year, and they need rare earth material access to build more. Trump feeling the need to say there is an unlimited supply, should be proof enough that they’ve run out. The Quadrupling of orders could affect future wars, but is a definite reaction to limited current supplies.

The cost differential between ballistics and interceptors (10x or more) would be one factor but doubt the US/Israel is close to running out yet.

Israel got to kill some children and invade Lebanon. They used this fool to gain couple of smaller and bigger wins again. Nothing else matters here.
