        I made this exact post a week ago after saying it was working for me on chrome mobile and got downvoted to shit lol people were big mad

          Just tried it and it’s working for me too. Don’t know why you’d even bother with that site without an account to filter out all the default bullshit though.

        The other day old.reddit was still working for me. Until it wasn’t anymore. Unfortunately its coming.

        The change is being rolled out gradually, probably to test if they see a negative impact to their metrics from it.

        We can’t promise it will be around forever, but [Reddit CEO Steve Huffman] himself has said we’ll keep supporting it while folks are still using it. That said, it doesn’t have the same modern security tech stack reddit.com has, so we need to tighten security on old reddit to keep it viable.

        That piece of shit spez is stating its a requirement, I cannot access without logging in.

        Old Reddit’s logged-out experience is a significant source of abusive scraping and automated traffic on the platform. It’s also an important interface for many long-time mods and Redditors. To strike the right balance between preserving your access to Old Reddit while preventing abusive scraping and automated traffic, over the next month we will start requiring everyone to log in.

        This was posted less than a month ago, so you must be the lucky last few who can still access it. Enjoy it while you can I guess.
