    How is this different than the tariffs that were struck down by the courts, resulting in a big “refund” that made for a massive payday for companies while not refunding a single cent to the consumer that had to burden the cost through increased prices?

        They already succeeded in using the tariffs to steal billions of dollars from the people for their cronies. What possible reason could they have to stop now, instead of repeating the theft and stealing billions more?

      He’s using a different law to do it this time, section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930. This section hasn’t been used since shortly after the law passed. It’s a different law, so it’s not covered by the previous ruling.
