The guy is on the Epstein list and his wife left him because he was too friendly to the guy…
He also fucked over our public education system

Let’s think that through. For that to work we only want the bot to respond to toxic AI slop, not authentic humans trying to engage with other humans. If you have an accurate AI slop detector you could integrate that into existing moderation workflows instead of having a bot fake a response to such mendacity. Edit: But there could be value in siloing such accounts and feeding them poisoned training data… That could be a fun mod tool

You don’t fight bullshit with more bullshit. The problem is people passing bots off as an authentic human response. Doing more of that with a different ideological slant doesn’t make things more alive, just dead with different aesthetics.

It’s the reason my son won’t talk to me.

This Marine Park fellow sounds like one bad hombre.

Ahh yes, imprisoning her for the crime of showing empathy. What a bunch ghouls.

Depends on where the plane crashes, but definitely won’t be conscious.
There’s a difference between seeing and perceiving. If you see AI slop and don’t see how it is different than something crafted by a human expert, that is a problem of one’s perception.

It’s not an either or situation, there is plenty of blame to go around. But I believe that the people with the most power are the most responsible. I know that runs counter to American corporate culture and can be a cultural shock to hear.

The new talking point is that man made climate change is real but burning oil isn’t causing the world to warm. But that does mean we can geoengineer our climate to be cooler. 🙃

Live by the sword, die by the sword. We let Gazan children die because of who their parents voted for. I’m not saying two wrong make a right but that doing what is right starts with us.

There are about ~3000 billionaires. Or a billionaire every minute.

I mean churches should be anticapitalist and before the turn of the last century they often were. But then property got expensive and churches would need loans… Now we have prosperity gospel and mega churches. The internet ran the same course but in just a couple decades.

Aside from the systemic reasons why the internet leans heavily right: when you deport people’s neighbors then politics is no longer a sports game and even the nonvoters understand this.

In May 2020, Lai told CNN news that US president Donald Trump was “the only one who can save us” from China, with Apple Daily publishing a similar plea addressed to Trump the same month.
There’s something ironic about this…

Being a billionaire is like staying alive long enough to be a villain. They were great at something but nothing justifies holding that much power for so long.

Also introduced voucher schools because he didn’t want teachers telling him laptops won’t solve education

IDK about “white knight”; I first heard the phrase “dangerous by default” from a black man recounting how he got nervous being on an elevator with a white woman.
His donation pledge was more of a flex because he’s increased his net worth more than he has donated. Also, people who were friends with Epstein should not get to decide where that money goes.
