3 days agoI disagree. Anyone should be allowed to vote. But I’d happily support mandatory civics classes to be able to do so, where you actually have to pass to get your voter registration number.

Why exactly is it bogus? He’s smack-dab in the middle of the conflict between old-HK and China. From a Chinese perspective, I can see very well how he’s a national security risk because of his communication with conflicting US interests.
It’s not his fault that the political landscape shifted on him making his activities now illegal, but the charges aren’t bogus.

What sort of anger? The type that could be soothed by sending the White House a peace prize from a Poutinery?
Why are they responding with tariffs?
They should be responding with sanctions.
