The goal here is to provide a common framework and language to use to discuss the issue. Currently, it’s all filtered to the public through the media, who not only warp and distort the message, but also bring multitudinous frames of reference and self-defined terms to bear on the issue.
The result is that many of us who do know where things are at feel powerless and depressed about it. But with a critical mass of people experiencing the same information framed in a very specific way, the public will actually be able to talk and discuss climate change in an actionable manner.
