Ah yes, CSVFI.

Convenience store wise, a can of Coke is 12 ounces and a bottle is 20 ounces in the states. They have the volume in ml on the bottle though.
Grocery stores have 1l, 16.9oz, 12oz bottles, and 7.5oz cans.
It’s all over the map.

USA uses both, just like the UK and Canada. It’s standard in the states for…medicine, the military, science, and… two-liter beverage bottles.

All true, great post. I can only add that proper attic insulation matters much more for indoor warmth in winter than the color of the roof itself.

At some point, even tech babble will seem like Curtains for Zoosha

Your mom.

We converted the detached garage into a granny flat and moved them in there. They don’t have a key to our house, and so have to call or knock when they want to visit - just like if they lived nearby but not in the back yard. It’s the only way it can work for us. When they have something medical going on they stay with us in the guest room. I work from home so I can generally check in on them often.
Other than that, they’re ~78 years old, but completely self sufficient for now, thankfully. When the day comes they’re not, I’ll probably take them out to the woods. They’re my in-laws, if you had to ask.

Absoulutely tearable.

Hmm. Nah. This is different. All parties in a war can be shit.

You’ll need to be more specific.

Didn’t Apple just launch a $600 laptop?
Edit: everyone made a bunch of really great points. Mine was more about addressing the affordability angle of a dying Personal Computing.

Literally.

Check your local e-waste repository.

Is it worth preserving though?

There’s a kink for that.

Isn’t there a method using your camera flash to detect cameras?

He’s imagining you’re eating roadkill and zombie deer though.
Whatever vacuum wars says.
