How is anybody surprised by this? They started this sort of international campaign of spying on, kidnapping, and otherwise cracking down on their own citizens decades ago.
I was first informed of the practice by a Chinese friend over 20 years ago. Of course they still do it, and it will be worse now than ever before with how technology has evolved, and with how further entrenched their authoritarian government has become.
They’re pretty small and kids like to stick things up their noses.
Support for unification is not the same thing as thinking that it is necessary. 1000 people is not many.
