        Lol dont get your hopes up. The PPP (president’s party) boycotted the vote to impeach the prime minister (aka: acting president) because they claim that the judicial appointments are partisan, therefore the acting president shouldn’t be impeached for not appointing those already approved judges. They vote was 192-0 which would not have passed if it was against the sitting president (they count votes out of the total members of legislators, not showing up is basically a “no” vote), but because the acting president is technically still prime minister, only a simple majority (150 out of 300) was need to impeach.

        The US’s opposition party (Democrats) doesn’t even have a simple majority, South Korea’s opposition party has almost 2/3 minus 8 (they have 192 of 300 seats). Completely different scenario.
