The CA/Browser Forum has officially voted to amend the TLS Baseline Requirements to set a schedule for shortening both the lifetime of TLS certificates.

    It makes sense. The only time you need a long term cert is when you have items that you install/update the cert yourself. Again I said update, looking at you Logitech Harmony.
