Continuing on the linked post, I wonder if another option could be to simply wait for the game to become ported/ready for emulation. I have zero experience with the world of console emulators.

What a culture! Especially when the company just literally hates everybody and anybody. The only thing Nintendo is down for, is the almighty $$$
