Now obviously you’re being restricted just because of your current economic position. If anything lower classes should have fewer restrictions not more.
I don’t think we need to babysit “the poor” but instead support people with social nets and provide opportunities for growth. The Singapore style of governing is oppression disguised as progress.
That’s where “kinda” is about, to be honest. Especially it’s hard to tell if it even works (if the point is really to help people). I agree, freedom of movement and participation in society must not be gated in any way.
