He also happens to be the King of some other minor countries here and there, but those are separate titles.
Kind of irrelevant. The monarch of Canada is a ceremonial position, and the title is given to the British monarch by custom only. Theoretically, Canada could name whoever they want as king/queen. The only reason we don’t is because it would cause a whole lot of bickering for absolutely no benefit.
