They were able to make 2 different pdfs with the same SHA1 hash. QC will cause problems for symmetric hashing as they should be able to brute force more hashes

One can argue that SHA1 is already broken by Google a while ago.
They were able to make 2 different pdfs with the same SHA1 hash.
