Tourism in North Korea is tightly controlled by the North Korean government. All tourism is organized by several state-owned tourism bureaus

Interactions between foreign tourists and local people have historically been tightly controlled.[25]

In 2024, talking to North Koreans without authorisation is considered spying (and punished as such).[24][26][c]

Visitors are not allowed to shop elsewhere than at stores designated for foreigners.[24]

SO friendly to tourists, Lemmy.ml users voted it no.1 best tourism spot

btw you didn’t say anything regarding ISIS controlled territory, what is their tourism policy like? free beheading on arrival?

Indeed, admittedly Westerners are free to visit Israel as they see fit and get spat on and kicked by the Orthodox Judaists as much as they want, in excess even.
