President Donald Trump, who has been pressing allies to help safeguard the critical waterway, fumed on Tuesday that the U.S. is not getting support “despite the fact that almost every Country strongly agreed with what we are doing, and that Iran cannot” be allowed to secure a nuclear weapon.
I am confused by the title wording because from all I can find no ally is coming to join, at best they are just looking to let their ships through (meanwhile American ships be considered fair game.)
The title is really poorly punctuated I think. I think it’s trying to say “Trump says he’s been rejected by NATO/most allies to join mission to secure critical Strait of Hormuz”
Most ships are.not “flagged” in the US, small obscure countries make money his way.
Most ships are not heading to the US but eventually the energy will generate trade which will head to the US.
US economy benefits a lot by having the US dollar as the world currency. “Petrodollar”. By crashing the global economy with oil and an Idiot to blame for causing the mess, Iran can destabilize that whole economic balance.
