      I feel like any kind of extremism is bad, I mean, it’s in the name unfortunately. Religious extremism is obviously no exception to that.

        Extremism is a subjective marker, and I hope you’d never learn that yourself (:

        It is objectively true though that this person’s autonomy was unlawfully disrupted for reasons inspired by herd mentality, magical thinking and egocentrism. That’s before this kind of agenda being of it’s own corporation with pipelines, money and supporters.

    the gang forces a different 16-year-old into a toilet block and repeatedly punches him while calling him a “f-----” and a “kaffir”, or nonbeliever. Blood runs down his face as he begs, “I’ll do anything.”

        Everyone who gets banned from Blahaj gets real bent out of shape for it and feel the need to bring it up constantly. 99% of the time said ban was completely justified.

            Last week you had a post removed where the mod, on Lemmy.world, said “Enough of the bigotry posts, next one gets a ban”.

            Another a few months back for breaking the community rules in Dad Jokes (also on LW), with a title of “Muslim people dont seem very liberal”. So we can see which rule that broke.

            On mander.xyz a comment of yours was deleted for a disparaging comment about the disabled.

            I have to say… Yeah, I think they were right, it was probably well deserved to be banned from blahaj.

              I imagined the same, I was really hoping they’d spell it out for us so that they’d maybe have a moment of clarity and realize the ban was warranted.

              (Edit - oh, maybe they did respond? I see a bunch of removed comments by ‘TheBat@lemmy.world’ whom seems to be banned now, but im sure the comments I was responding to were from a different user with a bunch of emoji in their username… I don’t know how Lemmy federation works with multiple usernames though, so I’m guessing same user.)

                I see tons of instances of you being an asshole, told to not be an asshole, and continuing to be an asshole leading to MANY bans across the whole of Lemmy. But there’s also a ton of removed comments baselessly shitting on Muslim people.

                Warranted bans. The only unwarranted ones are getting banned from the pro-GenAI comms for being anti-AI and not even using those communities to begin with.
