I’ve poked around the internet a bit and there does appear to be companies that manufacture in the UK. But of course they would be more expensive and would cut the profit margin of those wanting to sell these. Then again how deep do you want to go, only cotten grown in the UK, only dye made in the UK?
All I see is far right groups proving how globalisation can be beneficial for cheaper prices but also how as a country you should have a plan for your workers to be fitting into the market in other ways. But I guess that’s a harder message to package to a voter that wants simple answers.
