She’s just covering up for something different, outside of this discussion. I’ve talked about this in other communities on Lemmy.
Please bro, don’t talk about the AI bubble. It’s not real. I promise.

Well, yeah. Her job kinda depends on believing this.
I will disagree on this one (with a caveat). Her job requires her to promote certain narratives, not necessarily believe in them. That being said, the situation Su (or Huang) is in, likely makes it more likely that there is superficial belief in the propaganda copytext on her part.
Ugh, they just need to accept that AI isn’t as fetch as they desire it to be. That AI is a money burning operation that won’t make them money in the long term. No amount of manifesting, near cult-like worship amongst executives is going to make their non-existent and unthinking god a thing that brings in never-ending profit.
I’m tired of these CEOs spewing bullshit to gaslight others into believing in AI, everyone has access to the same data (for the most part); we can all see it’s an expensive waste of time, energy, and precious resources. Give it up, CEOs!
Surprise, surprise!
While I’ve been into computer hardware for decades (built my first PC when I was 16), I don’t understand people who are “fans” of AMD or Nvidia or any other company. The best option is to have a large number of competitors (at least 7-10 on a global level) in every major core technology area (operating systems, cloud services, office products, social media, different CPU architectures - x86, ARM, RISC-V. GPU design fabs and so on) with such an intense level of competition that something like Zuckerberg’s $60 B+ spend on metaverse BS would be impossible (because their margins would be too low).
