Yes, they’re not occupied or genocided, but they lost their identity and values by becoming capitalist as a result of the war. Because it was that or famine under trade chokehold. We have different definitions of victory I feel.

Capitalism has brought more people out of poverty than any other system ever. It definitely has its issues and can be done better, but as someone who has a large part of my family from exsoviet countries…not a fuckin chance I want that shit anywhere near me.
