Structures are being built now in order to circumvent the US, and those won’t just disappear when we elect a new president. Yeah maybe they’ll let us back at the table once Trump is gone, but we won’t be at the head of the table anymore. The rest of the world is figuring out how to function without the US right now. If they succeed, our participation will be irrelevant, which by definition diminishes most of our economic power.
