Futurama. I’ve seen it thousands of times. That’s not an exaggeration.
Ironically, I have so much garlic growing in my yard, I can’t give it away. It’s spreading everywhere and taking over everything.
I’m guessing this garlic is different than mine though.
Probably not what you had in mind but West Side Story. I didn’t care about musicals or romance. My dad made me watch it. He was a tough guy who liked kung fu movies and football. But he wasn’t afraid to be soft either. He liked musicals as much as he liked Bruce Lee. Glad we watched it together though. I appreciate that stuff now.
Also, in studies, products that aren’t imported tend to raise their prices to match the rest of the industry, rather than leaving it as it was.
Even the cost of goods made in America would get more expensive.
That was my first thought. I deleted my comment to highlight yours. Didn’t know it was a real problem.

My time has come! I have a podcast for everything. What do you like?
I subscribe to over 250 podcasts. -_- I don’t listen to all of them every day, and many aren’t in production anymore.
I love to listen and learn.
Unexplainable - Explainers on scientific mysteries, each episode is less than 30 minutes
What Went Wrong - Behind the scenes movie podcast. It’s a miracle any movie gets made.
Song Exploder - Musicians take apart their songs, layer by layer and talk about how it was made
Hysteria - Politics and News focusing on how the issues affect women
Levar Burton Reads - Levar Burton reads short stories. Not in production anymore, but there are almost 200 episodes worth of stories to hear
Hello From the Magic Tavern - A guy falls to another dimension but still gets WiFi so he started a podcast interviewing fantasy characters in that universe
Welcome to Night Vale - A fictional story told through a bi-monthly community updates radio broadcast. All conspiracies in Night Vale are real.
Hacked - Stories about hacking and internet crime.
Ologies - Science show about ‘-ologies’ careers
I wasn’t finished talking. I was pausing
This. My boyfriend also has ADHD so our conversations are a nightmare for this exact reason.
Hyper focus is a real problem for me. I don’t even realize I’m hungry or that my bladder is full until I’m feeling nauseous or light headed. What feels like 15 minutes is actually hours.
At the same time, if I don’t complete a project from start to finish in one sitting, it’s nearly impossible to restart.
I don’t get basic things done like laundry or remembering to make appointments because I’m stuck on one task. Sometimes I’m afraid to do things I love because I can’t just do it for 20 minutes. Especially video games. I want to relax after work and play but I know I can’t let myself or I might not eat that evening.
I need help getting started. I’m not an idea person. I can make anything you come up with but I can’t come up with the ideas on my own.
I’ve used it for an outline and then I rewrite it with my input.
Also, I used it to generate a basic UI for a project once. I struggle with the design part of programming so I generated a UI and then drew over the top of the images to make what I wanted.
I tried to use Figma but when you’re staring at a blank canvas it doesn’t feel any better.
I don’t think these things are worth the cost of AI ( ethically, financially, socially, environmentally, etc). Theoretically I could partner with someone who is good at that stuff or practice till I felt better about it.
Halt and Catch Fire.
Set in the 80s, it’s about a company in Texas trying to build a computer to rival IBM. Er, that’s how it starts. I liked it so much, I bought it.
Half my team quit because I told them about a better job offer I got. Oops. I don’t feel bad it. I stayed because I got a WFH guarantee that was pretty much immediately taken away from me.
On Monday, I got in trouble for waving goodbye to one of my bosses at the end of my day. Not even an exaggeration. That’s exactly what happened. I hate my job.
Audible replaced a version of a book my boyfriend bought with a completely different version of the same book. I mean a different narrator and everything. He had purchased the book a few years earlier but he didn’t manage to get a refund from them.
I was really trying to rack my brain for this question but, you helped me.
Mine is a pet too. A dog. I have a Dalmatian and there was one up for adoption at a local shelter.
I went to meet him, and the shelter sort of pushed him into me right then. It was more expensive than it should have been also.
In the end, I’m glad I brought him home. My first dog loves to wrestle with him and the shelter ended up getting shut down for violations with the state. I’m so happy he got a good home with me and didn’t get sent to who knows where when the shelter closed.
