Turns out replacing the ancient gameplay makes fire emblem actually fun to play.
They also removed all the weird marrying mechanics.
And I still have no idea how, after Fates’ omega crap story, they managed to write a story that’s not only good, but also one where the heroes are actual heroes, and not some stupid status quo defenders like in seemingly every book ever.

Robin Hood but they’re all kids. Cartoon physics in 3d. Cartoon logic too. However, they very quickly ran out of ideas so most episodes feel almost identical.
Marian’s spells seem to have an 80% rate of something going wrong.
