The other bloke also said he won’t invade in another phone call so…
With this one we can at least be fairly certain he tells the truth.

I mean… technically, yes, we all do good and bad stuff.
But you can’t say Hitler was a good person just because he was against animal cruelty. I don’t think any person out there is cartoonishly evil to a point they never did anything good - that doesn’t make those evil persons not evil.
And he may not have found what he needed. Rescuers bracing for another go for sure
This. Mu father and grandfather in law are mathematitians. I never liked or enjoyed math but they make it ao damn interesting when talking about it. It’s a real shame I never had a teacher with such passion and talent for it.
Fair enough. I was not going for “it’s evolutionary, so let’s just do nothing”. The whole argument herr is thay laziness doesn’t exist, because there is a root cause. Well, this is just semantics really. Being lazy is not wanting to do something. Is there a root cause behind it? Sure. If you go far enough it’s just biology (allegedly).
Does tiredness not exist? There is usually a root cause to you being tired.
I feel like this “lazyness doesn’t exists” is there just because being lazy has negative conotations. I think being lazy is good. Sometimes you do need to wind down and save what energy you have. This ofc shouldn’t be an excuse to not do anything ever. There is something as too much of a good thing and all that.
As I said, not an expert on this topic. But I feel like you are combining two different things.
Doing dishes is persumably something you don’t enjoy and your survival is not dependent on it -> you conserve energy.
Boredom, I think, comes from the brain not having enough stimuli.
I see it as two different things. But you are better of asking someone who knows more.
I’m not an expert, just read it somewhere. But I’d guess it might be because our current lives are miles away from the ones we evolved for and may not get the stimuli we require.
Isn’t lazyness just evolutionary trait? The need to conserve energy?
Things would be more stable if literal toddler was in charge, ffs.
Eating junk food mostly
Your original title didn’t say anything about games though. The Tower of London dungeons don’t come with a soundtrack.
Or maybe you just disabled music in settings and forgot?
No need to wait for SteamOS. It still needs the compatibility layer, as it is Linux. There is bothing too special about it as far as I know.
I’m a layman in terms of Linux but really… except some multiplayer titles, there really isn’t much to be concerned about using Linux. At least not from my experience.
Welcome and enjoy!
dads asking for advices from other dads
There is !dads@feddit.uk that could work - though not too active.
Also !parenting@lemmy.world might fit this need
Welcome, hope you will enjoy your stay as much as I did. Water is just fine over here
My understanding is there is not much to be leveraged. There were no guarantees, just “pinky promise we will respect your borders”
I imagined it being thick enoug to not bend easily. But I guess if it could, either the portal would somehow prevent it or expire
Well then I fucked up I guess :D don’t remember this detail
Best use would be to get two steel plates or something, of apropriate dimensions for portals and shoot them there. Now I have two portals I can move as I please and where I please
Oh.my god. I never realized but you are absolutely right.
