I think I am near your age. I learned spreadsheets on Lotus 123 on DOS and programming with Microsoft Qbasic.

I have now learned to use libre software, like Qgis, Inkscape,Gimp, etc. It is the way to go, for resilience and for the world we want to leave to our descendants. I thinkfreecasd can be harder, but librecad is pretty similar to classic AutoCAD, if I am not wrong.

I thibk it’s a good AutoCAD 2000 replacement

To enable gesture typing, download Google’s gesture typing library at https://github.com/erkserkserks/openboard/tree/master/app/src/main/jniLibs/arm64-v8a and then import it by opening the OpenBoard settings app, going to “Advanced”, and then choosing “Load gesture typing library”. Note: Google’s library is proprietary and not open source.
