First time I’m hearing about this. Looks very neat. I really only have Google Maps for the timeline so I will have to selfhost this and try this out soon.

1·11 months agoI’m not sure which specific issue you are referring too, but personally I had HW transcoding break with the new version and also direct play seem to also break with the newest Android TV version. Nothing with HDR would play at all, despite using an Nvidia Shield.
I rolled back both since I couldn’t find anyone with similar issues.

So return it if you bought a TV like that.
Buy these things with a credit card. If the store refuses a return or demands a restocking fee, credit card dispute. Visa doesn’t fuck around with this stuff.
Just tried it out.
Works great so far.
Appreciate the not gatekeeping on the tags and people showing up like the official app does.
