How are those things at all equivalent
!sysadmin@lemmy.world is right there
No it’s not nearly as active as reddit but you can post there and get plenty of replies.
Just like on reddit there was /r/technology and /r/tech… Which do you choose?
Choose the bigger one of course. That’s all. On Lemmy they can have the same name but the search feature shows how many subscribers there are. It’s pretty clear usually which to pick.
But everyone can see all of them and it’s not a big deal if you post to a smaller community because a ton of Lemmy users look at the All feed so it will show up anyway.

Unnatural. Should be illegal.

The group organizing it is Progressive International, they have a solid track record.
If you can donate, please do. Things are really bad right now with Cuba.

But no oil?
I guess they’re still making the “”“sovereign”“” decision to stop sending oil.
Absolutely disgusting

Source on that?

Flatpak is a way better implementation

I was confused too. This comment doesn’t look too bad but given it’s a 7 hour old account it made several multi-paragraph comments like this in a formulaic outrage-bait kinda way. This comment looks fine but the full comment history is pretty AI like

Cloudflare. They sell and renew at cost ($12 iirc)
I hear Porkbun does/did as well but I haven’t looked in a long time.
Because they like the fediverse and want to help it grow. Or maybe they didn’t want to have to deal with admins ever again.

Take a burner and live stream. Do not keep any sensitive info or log into anything other than the live streaming platform.
If you have your personal phone on you TURN IT OFF when law enforcement is nearby. The most secure state for your phone is before you unlock it after it boots up. The first unlock decrypts it and makes it much more vulnerable.

At a guess you’re probably updating Flatpak packages too which explains it. There’s nothing wrong with them but Flatpaks are bundled with all needed dependencies to that they run on any Linux distro. This means they generally work better at the cost of disk space. Theoretically you could install all your software natively into Fedora and have smaller updates/disk usage, but at a greater risk of dependency issues.

You don’t have to upgrade every day. But 500mb-1gb seems like a lot - are you on an Atomic version of Fedora? (Silver blue, Kionite, etc)

I fully believe the fascism and shit continues. I’m not sure the Greenland thing does though. It seems like a weird personal obsession.

Unfortunately I’m thinking this means they have some kind of info that a credible attack is imminent. Fuck.

Antenna for as many games as I can, piracy for the rest.

When we take Greenland they’ll get around to condemning. Nothing more.
But why the supposition that games hosted by Communist led countries are “bad” like the Nazi games?
