I chose what I was told was easiest which was Ubuntu and that has GNOME. A year later when I had enough of GNOME (which I still much preferred over Windows) I decided I was up to installing what I actually wanted and only because it came with an installer.

For explicit scenes and nudity. I honestly could barely tell that the nipples had been censored though.

I think they are trying to exaggerate how very outdated some Windows UI elements look (primarily dialog boxes?). I doubt they would use a 95 theme on an OS that’s hard to theme and annoying to use.

I’m still going to ask how you ended up with a server CPU. Does it help with the tasks you do?

I saw it’s on nix too.

The fix that @who@feddit.org (installing the game-devices-udev package) fixed it for me without having to switch to the version of steam from my native package manager. Thanks for the idea though, I had been considering trying it before but in the past the graphics drivers seemed to work better for me when using the flatpak version.

Okay wow, I had no idea that package existed and I haven’t seen any mentions of it before. Installing it from the AUR actually fixed it for me. (LEGO lotr seems to work at least)
Thank you for that tip, can’t believe the solution is so simple, lol. (I have already spent multiple hours trying to fix it)
I have only ever used the controller in it’s wired mode since it’s easier and I never play from more than 5m away from my computer.
Would you mind explaining how this fixes it? I have never looked into udev rules.

Yes earlier it looked like it wasn’t symmetrical now I just don’t like that the eye crosses the imaginary edge of the box.

I’m not sure whether it’s actually the case but the eye makes the corners look off.

You monster.

That just looks like open source toolkits that are used to make things for apple devices, not actual OS components.

You can set whether you want to view all/subscribed/local in your Lemmy client.
The communities I’m currently subscribed to don’t have that much content so I end up on all frequently. That’s how I keep seeing these posts too.

Hear me out: a bear is useful, fuzzy and could probably squeeze through doors.
A platypus is just perfect, I don’t need it to have combat proweses when I can play with a platypus instead of fighting.
Being the only one with a bear would of course make fighting an option but still I wouldn’t want it to get hurt.

I don’t think I have a game with an anticheat but this really just sounds like a fun coding challenge.

You can just link it. But there’s also something called mbin which seems to combine Lemmy and Mastodon but I don’t know much about it.

With those conditions I would pick a bear/panda or platypus respectively.

2&3 are pretty cool, I’m not a furry but the anthropomorphic comics on !furry_irl@pawb.social are still very much enjoyable. Unix socks on the other hand are something that I need to obtain sooner rather than later.

You get a bunch of trackers though. To be fair I’m not sure whatever the other thing is is better.
Huh, that is what I’m used to but my app manages it in line as well though normally I would do inline code
like thisanyways.
