I had an old Arctis 7 that finally fell apart last month after 8 years of heavy use.

I got a new Arctis 7. It is complete garbage. Cheap materials, smaller to the point that it just doesn’t fit my head, my ears don’t fit in the cups.

And instead of having it register two devices for chat and game you get a single device and then have to use their software to mix the chat, which is a nonstarter for me on Linux. SteelSeries has enshittified hard.

I added Battle.net-Setup.exe as a non-steam game and set the compatibility tool to Proton Experimental. This seems to have worked for me. Running on Garuda.

I run battle.net through Steam. Works just fine.

I still use bottles to have a persistent virtual drive for things like modding tools.

Most things work perfectly in Steam though.

Mine is the rotator cuff - and I already had arthritis in that shoulder so now I am a human barometer. Fun party trick. I am punished for not doing my dailies but I do different stuff every other day. I suspect I will never regain full mobility in that shoulder - and it’s my dominant arm too. Wear and tear, I guess.

The US presence in Europe exists to facilitate US power projection, if we are not stopping Russian advancement then there is no reason for host countries to allow US bases in their territory.

The population of the US has no appetite for invading Canada, many of us have close friends and family there, we consider Canada a friend and ally and Trumps hissy fit doesn’t change that.

If the US invades Canada there will be a lot of Americans aiding resistance.
