If you want to discover BF3 & BF2, in pixels, i would suggest then polygon :)

However, for your FOMO,
I could suggest you, to use an RSS aggregator, and follow some rss’s feeds like :

And with Rss’s Clients (QuiteRSS & Akregator), i can use filters, to just see what’s interresting me,

For the second part, i tend to no trust arguments with “no reason” too,
There is one, good or no, there is one,

Fortnite will not be avalaible,
But there is plenty games avalaible on steam for Linux, a lot of Indies but well made.
And BTW, they can be soft brained so its really good for kids.
There is also itch.io where you can find some ore.

But I hope they don’t play fortnite to be with friends because it will be tough for you to convince.
