Shit like this is why building websites is no longer fun for me like it was back in the 90s and 2000s. There’s way too much security shit to worry about now.

Isn’t everyone on here as an alternative to reddit?

Thanks. Going to give therapy a try.

I’m about to delete my comment cause you’re the third person now to respond with basically the same thing and I’m tried of clarifying myself. So just go read my reply to the first person who said something similar to what you did.

This wouldn’t have happened if the dumbasses at the hospital in Bangkok would have actually done their jobs, and had a doctor check for vital signs before merely taking the guy for his word, and just going with the assumption that she was dead before rejecting her.
Secondly, nobody at the hospital found it even slightly odd that a dude just rolls in with a body and says, “she’s dead. Cremation, plz”? Instead they respond with, “produce a death certificate or fuck off”. What the actual fuck is going on over there in Thailand, that basic due diligence doesn’t even cross their minds? I would have been asking, “isn’t that your job, assholes?”

TIL that’s why it’s called that.

Okay, so the answer basically is that you can’t have multiple people working on overlapping bits of code, not without someone sorting it out first.
Being able to have two different people work on different parts of the same file without causing any issues makes sense, but I also thought there was some magic formula that fixes everything if two people try to upload the file with the same part of the code modified in two different ways at the same time.
Git is not as magical as I thought it was now that you’ve explained it.

The part that confuses me is: How can multiple people work on overlapping bits of code at the same time, and the Git manager (or whatever you call it) just handles it all without breaking everything?

The entire reason Facebook exists to begin with was so Zuck could creep on his female classmates. This is not surprising at all.

Yes but you could easily replace the battery. Going by the description, it sounds like the battery is going to be internal. Now of course video game controllers have been historically easy to open, but it’s not going to be as easy as simply popping out the battery and popping in a new one like the XBOX.

Nvidia’s shit Linux support is why I’ve been stuck with Windows despite how badly I want to switch to Arch. You get no Nvidia Control Panel, no Nvidia App, no ShadowPlay, no RTX HDR, no 3D Settings panel; basically the only thing you can do with an Nvidia GPU on Linux is render 3D graphics. Which is fine if all you do with your PC is CAD or non-competitive SDR gaming. But I paid for all these extra features and so I’d like to use them.
Can’t even switch to an AMD GPU, either, because I like Ray Tracing too much, so I’m stuck waiting on Nvidia to get their shit together (or AMD to finally release a GPU that can handle RT @ 4K120) before I can finally ditch Microsoft for good.

One of them already downvoted you. I’m sure that more of them are coming.
Well at least we know the real reason for the murders now. Why it it always the most greedy, predictable cause?
