Why would your internet connection matter for something that runs on LAN?

I’m glad that Steam Link works for you. Meanwhile I gave up on it and decided to just lug my 50LB desktop from room to room instead, because doing so is considerably less of a hassle than putting up with Steam Link and its constant lagging, disconnects, dropouts, FPS dips, and input lag. It’s so fucking bad that I can’t believe that people actually still use it as more than just a neat novelty for five minutes at a time.
“Saturated”? Seriously? How so? I can’t think of a single cloud gaming platform that didn’t fail miserably. Nobody can seem to be able to make a competitive service. There’s a massive gap that needs to be filled.
I don’t understand why they didn’t stick with the piping metaphor when naming things. You know, Valve, Steam… The Steam Deck should have been called “Boiler”.
Boat. It’s a fucking boat.
What is your fucking problem?
When will governments learn that banning things they don’t like only serves to make the thing they don’t like become a bigger problem for them? This will never work. The students will protest, and the government will eventually rollback the mandate.
To be fair, a 1986 Toyota Camry blows Tesla out of the water.

If this is true then I have no sympathy.
Dumbfucks.
(China needs to legalize psychedelics. The entire country, no—the entire world—could benefit from experiencing ego death.)
What the fuck is wrong with psychopaths? Why are they unable to feel empathy?
Do you mind losing access to most features on your GPU, including (but not limited to): RTX HDR, Shadowplay, the Nvidia App, the Nvidia Control Panel and everything it offers, including the 3D Settings page?
If any of this matters to you, you may want to consider switching to an AMD GPU first before you consider Linux. Nvidia does not support it nearly as well as they support Windows. You get a driver that lets you run games, and that’s about it.
Given how short the DMT trip is—and the fact that DMT vapes are a thing now—this is entirely possible. I mean I’ve done it. It’s a lot harder to break through than you think. You’re still going to be mostly grounded with reality. You’ll have some trippy thoughts and see some pretty neat visuals, then it’s back to normal in under 10 minutes.
That said, I would still only recommend this to people who have tripped at least once before. If you’re looking to replace your oral fixation, I’d recommend a 1:1:1 weed vape for day-to-day use, and a higher THC live resin formula for the evenings.
I’m glad it’s never the weed vapes. Quit nicotine and just use those instead. They have low-THC blends to ease you into the habit if you don’t normally partake. Just ask your local dispensary employee—They’re all a bunch of stoners who mainly work there for the free weed (cause the pay sucks), so they love showing newbies the way. Don’t be afraid to ask.
IDK I have ADHD and don’t feel like digging through my history to find it, but it was the main one with the most subscribers.
That is an incredibly fair price for what I want. I would absolutely love to give Valve $1400 if the performance justifies the price.
Yes, MMOs tend to require a persistent internet connection to work. I’ve never heard of one that didn’t.
As underpowered as the Steam Deck is, it’s a miracle to me that it can even run modern AAA titles at all.
Wake me up when they release a 1440p OLED model that can handle Ray Tracing @ 60 FPS minimum.
The Nintendo community here is no better. I got banned for the same reason here on Lemmy.
Too lazy/ADHD to scroll through all the comments; what’s going on down there?
