Yeah, I don’t think anyone with diseases expected they should get special treatment when it comes to promotions. They pretty much just want to have the same chance as others without diseases.

I want non-traditional families, no gender roles, and all the vanilla straight stuff to all exist side by side in harmony.

What do you mean by vanilla straight stuff?

then they should not expect any promotions over other people without the disease (assuming equal work/hour).

Are you saying if they work the same hours, but take off more of their sick days because of a disease, they shouldn’t get a promotion?

She highlights the timing: the country’s leading far-right figure, former president Jair Bolsonaro, is now on trial for an attempted coup and, after a prior ruling by the electoral court, is already barred from standing in next year’s elections.

“So there is also an element of grabbing attention and pushing an agenda, especially when the right wing camp is in crisis over Bolsonaro’s trial and no one knows who will emerge as their new leader,” she said.

However the world was in a better place then, so I feel like I’m mentally in a worse place probably.

I needed to fill the medicine boxes for me and my partner, and I had a few bottles of medicines I just got that I needed to put in, so I’m carrying them down the stairs, one of the bottles falls out of my hand, lands like a wheel on a stair, I step on it, and I fall down 3 stairs. My butt and elbow hurt and I was so mad. 😡
