I upgraded my pc - for the first time in nearly a decade - this spring because I felt in my bones it would be the last time most components would be “affordable”. It may very well actually be.

I read a detailed anonymous account by someone who claimed to have worked for Epstein as a lowest-level goon and there were absolutely boys “available” on the island. He also mentions how one of his (male) coworkers got raped by one of the clients and everyone just accepted it as normal.

It might’ve been complete fiction given that it was anonymous but a lot of the details felt very… poignant, gritty, stupid little things that only someone really in that position would know.

I can (sadly) believe it easily. What gets me every time, though, is that there are people just itching for a chance to unload live ammo on their fellow compatriots. There has never been a shortage of psychopath strongmen who are willing to sacrifice everything (except themselves and their own), but what I simply cannot grasp for the life of me is that there are monsters willing to do that for just a few peanuts a month more than the poor bastard they’re murdering. Yet, there’s tens of thousands of them and they’re queueing up for the chance to do this.

That will simply never compute in my mind. Can’t possibly wrap my limited brain around it, never will.

Lutris too. As far as ease of use goes, nothing beats SteamOS. Nothing. It’s the closest to fully featured plug&play I’ve ever seen, it all just works.

It’s perfect. It does everything I want it to do and much more, and at a very salient price point. I have one complaint and that is that after ~30 mins of play my arms start to ache. Ergonomics could be improved, and almost certainly will be in the future.

So hackers only have to hit one central location now for all that data. Gotcha.
