How does this work exactly? My familiarity with Unions is that either they’re created inside an existing company, or a union gets people to unionize at a company. The idea with both of this situations is that all the workers leaving would be detrimental for the company so the company has to give into the Union Demands to some extent.

With my unfamiliarity with with this video game union, it seems they’ve just created one, but wouldn’t that mean that a company has to decide to hire workers from this union? My understanding with the game industry is there’s thousands of experienced people that will work for cheap, so I feel most game companies will have options vs union workers.

Idk. I now recommend getting cheap tools first until they either break( from usage) or their bad quality is a noticeable and active hindrance. From there buy better quality. I also suggest buying ALL the tools you need. Sometimes, you think you can make it work with some alternatives and don’t want to get the specialized tool. I feel that I usually end up spending more time dealing with the problem and getting more stressed out.

Example of the latter: dealing with my drum breaks with just pliers. Uninstalling was a breeze, but installing was a huge pain. The cheapest specialty tools made my life so much better, and used them several times. I notice their janky, but they still work good enough to get the job done.

You’re talking about the negative results, but the important point is who is attributed as causing them or the reason behind them. If there’s record inflation, I can imagine a situation where MAGAs believe it’s for a good reason, or because woke caused it or something. I have used proton DB to help me trouble shoot other games that were rated silver and above. I basically try to find reviews (using the filter search function) with my specs and see what input they have to offer (sometimes solutions to issues that are exactly like mine). If I don’t find anything, then I start looking up solutions from other peoples’ setups.

Sometimes, it could just be that your hardware isn’t strong enough for the game. Sadly I can’t offer anything more specific than that.
