I’m fairly liberal. A lot of threads are just " We are so cooked!" comments without much actual conversation.
Times are dire, but hope doesn’t sell. Doom sells, so is rather popular on here and reddit.

I switched instances, yeah. And there’s a post about someone leaving reddit like every other day.

I think there is one, maybe. Blorp?

Bend over for Lord Spez, like a good boy!

I, personally, think it’s very different. You may like it, and that’s totally cool. But like you said, I have used mostly Lemmy and I’m probably being pedantic.

but the extreme leftist political dooming invading every corner of the website I used made it absolutely miserable to use.
I always say this to people who have left Reddit for some reason and land on Lemmy:
Brother, you left New York and landed in New Jersey. It’s the same doom here, if not worse. We are reddit’s Alaska, made up of weirdos, outcasts, the socially damned, and Linux-philliacs.
Welcome, but don’t get too excited.

Piefed’s UI blows ass is the main problem I have.
element.io uses Matrix. It’s not bad.
