Not enough competition for that. That being said AMD did add HBM for certain SKUs a few years ago.
I might be wrong on this, but for gaming HBM isn’t necessarily a silver bullet in terms of performance; a lot of it depends on the overall GPU architecture.
I had one of those cards and they were nice (HBM2) but at least they could have built on that plus all that great bus width could allow for all these massive texture packs to be loaded in and out so much better.
To be honest I would love to see more of those combo cards with NVME drives on them and huge bus’s onboard and keep all that on the card unless it need to be offloaded into system ram.
