I have no idea. I basically only accessed using that browser / VPN combo, and never used that browser/VPN for anything else. The only link is that to sign up to proton, I needed to use an email address that is linked to me - but proton SAY it’s not shared etc.
My feeling is it was just banned for being generally sus (new account, no browser fingerprint, mullvad VPN). No reason was given other than ‘breaking terms’.
Edit: I think the only way I could use Reddit would be to buy an account via G2G or something like that
I wonder how they detected you. This will be practice for getting around age verification in the future.
You’re assuming they detected OP, but how do you know they didn’t just ban a particular Mulvad VPN server because of something someone else did?
