Movie wraps up with a perfect ending? Just release an extended ending!
Sometimes I just want to watch those characters enjoy their happy ending and get to explore more of the lore and the world.

All I want is a sequel where it explores the world of Erid before he gets sent home. Talk to more eridians, learn some of their culture and traditions. Maybe even have permanent communications established between them and earth and scientists and people just talk with them.
I don’t even care if there’s much of a plot, just story.
Technically there was a movie (Serenity), but whatever got me more of the Firefly universe. The characters were just so much fun, their banter alone would be enough for me. Thankfully, there’s supposedly an animated revival in the works - announced several months ago by the entire original cast (edit: sans Ron Glass of course 😔).
Wait really? I saw Fillion doing the “so are we doing this?” Skits with all the other actors a while ago, but I then heard it was for a podcast. I wasnt aware its actually going to be an animated revival. Thats great.

There’s also a bunch of comics, some are excellent.
