As for the ships… They’re not unrelated, they’re entering warzone with prior warning. That’s what a military blockade is, it’s their primary lever against the USA and its allies. It’s unfortunate that they feel the need to pull that lever, but they’re only doing so under extreme duress from America and Israel. There was even a framework for them to pass through safely, which was repeatedly violated at the behest of the American administration.
