      The real irony is that they are not really making much money out of AI (relative to investments and operating costs). It’s just a bunch of grifters and bad faith actors along with senior oligarchs who are shielded from competition (if Microsoft/Meta/Google were subject to real competition they would take a prudent and sober approach to their investments in AI).

      Blame AI?

      More places in the world are becoming industrialized, that’s the largest driving factor, not AI
