2.4 million tonnes of litter (an unsavoury mix of faeces, urine and bedding materials), the equivalent of 100 Titanics.

If you were wondering it’s the equivalent of 237 Eiffel Towers!

I’m guessing it’s the ‘bedding materials’ that are the issue?

Chicken ‘urine’ is already directly Urea and chicken poop is fertilizer (especially important considering the straits right now?)

Edit: Britain has apparently has ‘nitrogen pollution’ issue - have they tried growing crops?

Alternatively, send it all over to Australia, nitrogen depletion is a major issue here.

It might be a space issue. Bedding is pretty commonly sawdust. Composting takes time, so you need land to store a year or so worth of waste .
