I’m always lost when people start using music terms. So a “beat” is just a song? Why don’t people just say that?
I guess I could have given more explanation for those who don’t know. Usually it means a hiphop beat, one either made for someone to rap over, or to stay an instrumental. But sometimes they can stray pretty far from their hiphop roots and still be beats.
Beats are usually some sort of hip hop or electronic music.
