For me 2007 Appalachian state @ Michigan. While the game itself made me laugh since Michigan lost in the big house to a bunch of overachieving hillbilly’s.

What kept it hilarious all these years was a phone call. Back then I was a regular listener to Jim Rome on the radio for a few years. And every Friday before game day you would always have fans call in talking smack to one another.

I will never forget this call. A Michigan fan called in saying he wanted to remind app st fans that they are coming north to a more modern sophisticated society and that they should know that the urinals are not on fact drinking fountains.

That caller was mocked relentlessly for months on Jim’s show and he played it after any Michigan fan would call in. But that following Monday was like the entire show was dedicated to completely eviscerating that caller

Every college football season there is some upset that reminds of that call. In this case it was Michigan again this weekend after they had a bs 1 second put back on the clock and won with a hail mary
