There’s a finite amount of money. For every dollar spent printing new maps is a dollar not spent on blowing up a school with 150 little girls in it. The cost of printing new maps is insignificant in the context of the federal budget. I wish it cost more.

The majority of these agencies are already underfunded.
Schools for example will not receive funds to update their course materials. They will have to take that money from somewhere else in their budget.
The private corporations that make these course materials will be delighted at a new federal standard that schools are low-key forced to comply with or risk losing federal funding
