I’m aware she never literally said the words “Jewish space lasers”. What she did is blame the Rothschilds (by name) for funding “what looked like lasers or blue beams of light causing the fires”.

There’s absolutely zero reason for her to be bringing the Rothschilds into this except as antisemitic dogwhistling. She has a history of antisemitism outside of this too, of course:

In December 2018, she shared a video on her Facebook page, which features a prominent British anti-Semite [note: Holocaust denier] explaining that “Zionist supremacists have schemed to promote immigration and miscegenation.” This is a conspiracy theory that seemingly motivated the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter’s rampage in October 2018, less than two months before Greene’s post. Despite concrete evidence that these ideas were endangering American Jews, Greene chose to spread them anyway.

She’s also claimed George Soros “OWNS Antifa” and is an “ex-Nazi billionaire” (notably, Soros survived Nazi-occupied Hungary as a Jewish child).

She knew exactly what she was saying; her post boils down to “Jewish space lasers”, which is why anyone with any sense called it for what it is. Do not try to play pedant to pussyfoot around MTG’s white supremacist antisemitism, you little weasel.
