I’ve tried it, it actually works again! A day may come where the workarounds fails. When we can no longer access any reddit pages without account, and must abandon answers to Reddit threads as a source of documentation. But it is not this day! Without it, links and bookmarks to old.reddit.com will hit Reddit’s login wall instead of loading.

Please note that due to changes Reddit has recently made to old Reddit, the extension now works by serving old Reddit directly from www.reddit.com. This also works while logged out .

You can also now toggle the extension on and off by clicking on its icon. This is handy for quickly switching between new and old Reddit. ]
