Former FIFA President Josep Blatter also wrote on X that the “close relationship” between Infantino and the US President Donald Trump “has reached a financial dimension that is deeply damaging football.”

look, Infantino even managed to beat Blatter at the corruption game. Impressive.

People will flock to the circus because people are stupid. Here we are, helping usher in the surveillance state using “sports” as the guise while people get kickbacks in the millions to do it.

Its not your team, it never was.

Love football? Quit participating in the marketed version.

Being so emotionally invested in a product they sell you for profit is some of the dumbest shit you can do.

    ‘Our game’ lmfao

Nobody owns football. Marketeers and corrupt leaders just pretend they do and for almost a century now, everyone sort of agreed they did, just like the EU has for decades now.

Like, NOW you push back on the most blatantly corrupt organization? Now? Bit late don’t you think.

It depends upon how you interpret ‘our’ as it’s pretty vague. It means ‘belonging to us’ but I think that ‘us’ literally means everyone in the world except FIFA in this context.

I imagine FIFA would take the Nintendo route in the future: every team, including childrens football, would have to pay a fee.

It’s all words until they pull out of the next World Cup. If they didn’t boycott Russia, Qatar, USA and no word on the Saudi World Cup, then they are not going to do anything now. It’s all greed and corruption all the way through.
