It was just a simple place where people could post their own open source projects… but apparently Reddit hates Open Source

      it’s crazy that after the mod purge you’re just now realizing they can do that.

      everyone who would care was purged years ago.

      That’s why we are all here, once reddit wanted to monetize the data and increase profit it all turned to shit. Its not a freely open forum anylonger

        Yeah it makes sense now. I think the reason for the ban is that they want people to circle jerk on their own platform. So they don’t want links to outside domains, which is what my subreddit did.

      The people that care leave or are forced out. Like it or not, Reddit belongs to a company. If they want to make their thing into a pile of junk, that sucks and is a shame, but its theirs to ruin. Feel free not to take the abuse.
