Anecdotally the NVidia experience for any card later than the 10 series is totally usable and hassle free. I run a 2060 Super on EndeavourOS and it works perfectly with every task I’ve thrown at it, I’ve never had to manually configure a single setting.
amdgpu is good, but I’m still avoiding nvidia stuff for driver reasons.
